EPS -solutions
The products are customized according to the customer’s needs. The systems are modular.
Elcon’s EPS (Elcon Power Systems) power supply systems are primarily used in power plants and electrical distribution, but also in industries, hospitals, rail transport, ICT and telecommunications to ensure the operation of critical equipment during power outages or maintenance activities.
EPS DC-solutions
EPS DC system products consist of the following main components:
- Monitoring unit
- Rectifier modules
- Battery pack
- Load fuses

- IP rating: IP21 (available up to IP55)
- Base
- Color: RAL 7035 (standard), customizable with special colors

EPS AC-systems
At its simplest, the modular EPS AC systems consist of the following main components:
- Monitoring unit
- Inverter modules
- Load fuses

- Dual inputs (both AC and DC) with a wide AC input range
- Monitoring unit
- Cabinet dimensions: 1600 mm (H) x 600 mm (W) x 600 mm (D)
- IP rating: IP21 (available up to IP55)
- Color: RAL 7035 (standard), customizable with special colors
- Cable direction: from the top
EPS Hybrid-solutions
With hybrid systems, both AC and DC loads can be supplied by a single system. The system can be built either from separate AC or DC power modules or from revolutionary Sierra hybrid power modules, where a single module can supply both AC and DC loads.

Control unit
The system’s control unit features a high-resolution LCD touchscreen for system configuration. The system status and real-time signal data can be checked via the display.
An integrated USB connection is provided for local firmware updates, configuration updates and system restorations. The Modbus communication protocol enables real-time monitoring and transfer of analog and digital signals, as well as alarms, for example to a SCADA system.
