and Onboarding
The tasks primarily involve motor and machine automation installation, with additional work related to battery-backed systems and renewable energy. The position requires studies in electrical, automation, or telecommunications installation and/or previous knowledge in the field.
Our onboarding process is comprehensive, so prior experience is not essential as long as you have the interest and enthusiasm to learn.
Where will you work?
You can influence the location of your workplace, which could be in places like Vaasa, Singapore, or Naantali. Before starting your tasks, you will receive thorough onboarding at Elcon’s new facilities. During this time, you’ll also get to know your new colleagues and the close-knit team. The onboarding period lasts about 4 weeks, after which you will begin your work.
In the long term, we offer the opportunity to do motor and machine installations on ships, power plants, and various industrial sites around the world. We provide good opportunities to influence the content of your job and how much you’re willing to travel.
As your expertise grows, employees have the opportunity to move into supervisory roles and/or various specialist positions.
