Gridsense Line IQ
LineIQ offers basic level electrical line fault indication and intelligent remote monitoring. The basic level fault indicators only show the original (primary) faults, but in addition, the intelligent monitoring helps auxiliary programs isolate faults and restore power more quickly by recording real-time data on actual voltage, fault waveform, load profile, line status and condition, environmental and conductor temperature, as well as providing timestamped event logs.

GridSense Local Link allows a wireless connection to a laptop. Its range is up to 50 meters. The LineIQ communication gateway enables wireless remote connectivity through various network options, including mobile, Ethernet, radio network, Wi-Fi, and much more.

Cost-effective and reliable
At the heart of the system is an innovative sensor that does not require a separate power supply. It can be easily installed on live wires using a standard insulation rod. While most line monitoring solutions use inaccurate inductive coils for current measurement, LineIQ uses a highly accurate current transformer that allows for fault calculations from a distance.
